The Golden Globes 2019 will take place on January 6 and be hosted by Andy Samberg and Sandra Oh 


Terry Crews, Danai Gurira, Leslie Mann and Christian Slater revealed the nominations in a live broadcast from Los Angeles on Thursday morning

Golden Globe nominations 2019: Olivia Colman, Emily Blunt and Claire Foy bag prestigious nods as British actors, movies and TV dramas sweep the board
British actors, movies and TV series swept the board as the Golden Globe 2019 nominations were announced on Thursday 

The Favourite, a black comedy set in the court of Queen Anne, lead the way scooping five nominations and is expected to do well at the ceremony 

It received nods for Best Screenplay, Comedy, Leading Actress Olivia Colman and Supporting Actresses Rachel Weisz and Emma Stone 

Claire Foy also received a Best Actress nod for her role in First Man 
Richard Madden (Bodyguard) and Hugh Grant (A Very English Scandal) were among the British men who received nominations
