UK’s Eddie Hall deadlifts 462kg (1017 pounds) at the 2015 Arnold Classic Australia to break the strongman deadlift world record set by Benni Magnusson last year with 461kg. Arnold Schwarzenegger arrived just as Eddie started to pull. Amazing to watch!

STRONGMAN Eddie Hall has won praise from a movie icon following his latest record-breaking feat.

The 27-year-old, of Clayton, posted footage on his Facebook page where he achieved a 462kg deadlift.
And during the muscle-straining stunt Arnold Schwarzenegger was cheering Eddie on.
The session was held at the Austrian icon's Arnold Classic Australia 2015 event.

Following the lift – which betters the 2014 record of 461kg set by Benedikt Magnusson, Eddie said: "I had Arnold Schwarzenegger cheering me and he gave me a high five to congratulate me after the event – even though I left him hanging at first, oops!"
Schwarzenegger wrote on his Facebook page, along with a picture of Eddie; "This, ladies and gentlemen, is a world record deadlift at the Arnold Classic Australia. 462 kilos - 1,018 pounds. Congrats to Eddie Hall."
