Get ready for one last ride.
The full trailer for the third installment of the
Sylvester Stallone-fronted action hero franchise has been released, showing plenty of brawn and brawls from Sly and fellow stars
Arnold Schwarzenegger, Jason Statham, Terry Crews and Mel Gibson (Harrison Ford and his
then-healthy ankle famously replaces Bruce Willis). The film also marks costar Wesley Snipes’ first post-prison role.
“The Expendables” franchise is a box office juggernaut for Lionsgate. The first film, which Stallone directed, grossed $274,470,394 worldwide. Simon West directed the second film, which grossed $311,979,256 worldwide.
Patrick Hughes is helming “
The Expendables 3,” which bows August 15.
