SLUMGODS OF MUMBAI - REAL LIFE BILLY ELLIOT OF HIP HOP!

By using Hip Hop to bridge the gap between chaos to creativity, Slumgods is an initiative to tackle the vicious circle of poverty in Dharavi.

The SlumGods are a hip-hop crew based in Dharavi, Mumbai. Fiercely proud of their roots and their music, they use hip-hop culture to help the kids of Dharavi grow and learn. This is the trailer to The Guardian's film about the group. Beats and books - you can't really go wrong
