THE JONATHAN ROSS SHOW : MADONNA SPEAKS OUT ABOUT HER FALL AT THE BRITS 2015

Madonna speaks about her fall at the Brits

Madonna's finale of the Brit Awards was a huge moment and the first time in 20 years that the Superstar was back to perform at Britains most anticipated Awards night.
At one point in the carefully choreographed performance, one of Madonna's dancers was supposed to slip her cape off her shoulders. He had to tug it, bringing the Superstar down with it!
...
In an interview on The Jonathan Ross Show, Madonna spoke about her fall and how she coped: "I had a little bit of whiplash, I smacked the back of my head. I know how to fall, I have fallen off my horse many times."
She certainly did know how to fall and luckily managed to land on her side instead of her back. Madonna said her cape had been tied too tightly, meaning it could not be unfastened in time. "Everyone was worried my cape would slide off, so they tied it really tight around my neck," explained the singer. "I got to the top of the stairs and I pulled the silky string, and it wouldn't come undone. I had two choices: I could either be strangled or fall, and I chose to fall."
The star miraculously jumped back up two seconds later to finish her matador performance and even though she was in pain, she still continued singing LIVE and smiling.
The star may have fallen down, but she has gone up in almost everyone's esteem and her single "Living For Love' has shot up the charts and is about to enter the UK top 10 after just 2 days on sale.
