Mrs. Doubtfire is joining
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Twins and
Jurassic Park in a long list of films to get a belated revamp.
Robin Williams is set to step into the slippers once again to
star in
Mrs. Doubtfire 2 twenty-one years after the original hit movie screens back in 1993.
The film’s original director Chris Columbus - no, not the one that helped discover America - is returning. AND they’ve snagged the writer of Will Ferrell’s Christmas
classic,
Elf - David Berenbaun - to write the film.
Apparently the idea of a sequel almost came together ten years ago, but this is the first time Robin Williams and the director have taken to the idea.
