Peter Griffin does look good in Swarovski...

MORNING! Fancy a funny first thing?
Who wore their fishnet/Swarovski creation better, RiRi or Peter from Family Guy?

Rihanna has hit headlines this week, after turning up to CFDA Fashion Awards (us neither) in America wearing a dress that left little to the imagination. Actually, it left nothing at all to the imagination. She was basically naked.

Her outfit has, of course, caused an awful lot of controversy (especially since Instagram is struggling to deal with the amount of naked flesh showing up on their site), but if there is one person capable of smoothing out the backlash? Fellow beauty and modern day icon, Peter Griffin.
The singer shared an image of herself, and the Family Guy cartoon dad, on her Twitter account, stating simply 'he gets it' - and updated her profile picture to a simple pic of Griffin. See above.

Homer Simpson and Peter Griffin arguing about whether Duff or Pawtucket is the superior beer. What more could you want from a cartoon?

The first images of The Simpsons/Family Guy crossover episode have been released.
The episode, which features the Griffin family in Springfield, was announced last summer and is due to air in September.

The official episode synopsis states that: "Peter (Seth MacFarlane) and the Griffins get out of dodge and end up in Springfield, where they are greeted by a friendly stranger named Homer Simpson (guest voice Dan Castellaneta), who welcomes his new “albino” friends with open arms. The families get along famously: Stewie (MacFarlane) becomes obsessed with Bart (guest voice Nancy Cartwright) and his old-fashioned pranks; Lisa (guest voice Yeardley Smith) takes Meg (Mila Kunis) under her wing and is determined to find something – anything – at which she excels; Marge (guest voice Julie Kavner) and Lois (Alex Borstein) ditch housework for a little bonding; and Peter and Homer fight over the best beer in town – Pawtucket vs Duff."

Kevin Reilly, Fox Entertainment Chairman, said at the network's presentation in New York City: "Generations of fans will be talking about this one."
