The famous contest, now in its 64th year, was this year held in Britain which hosted the first competition
Miss England has narrowly missed out on winning Miss World 2014 in London.
Cambridge University medical student Carina Tyrrell, 24, was tipped as second favourite to win the title but narrowly missed out at the last minute to Miss South Africa.

Miss Tyrrell reached the semi-final of the 64th beauty pageant and was one of five contestants who could have scooped the coveted prize.
The top three places in the beauty pageant were announced in reverse order with Miss USA finishing in third and Miss Hungary being named runner-up.

Rolene Strauss, Miss South Africa, was then named the new Miss World.
The 22-year-old held her hands up to her face in shock and then hugged Miss Tyrrell - who was standing next to her - and Miss Australia Courtney Thorpe before being crowned on stage by Miss World 2013 Megan Young.
This year saw 125 contestants vying for the iconic title from countries including India, Brazil, Indonesia, Kenya, Guyana, Philippines, Bolivia, South Africa and Netherlands.
Ms Young, the Welsh actor and TV presenter Tim Vincent, and Mr World Canada 2013 and Miss World 2014 web presenter Frankie Cena are hosts for tonight's event at the ExCel London Exhibition and Convention Centre.
The competition sees entrants battle it out in categories including Miss World Top Model, Beach Fashion, Multimedia, Talent and Sports and Fitness.
Grammy award-nominated and multi-platinum artist Sky Blu from LMFAO and British boy band The Vamps will be performing in tonight's show.

Judges include Julia Morley, chairman and owner of the Miss World Organisation; Rudy Salles, member of the National Assembly of France; Jody Reynolds, past president of Variety International and former Red Cross worker during the Vietnam War, plus former Miss World winners.
Student doctor Carina Tyrrell had told how she wanted to bring the Miss World crown back to England after 31 YEARS and was second favourite to win the beauty pageant, which was last won by England in 1983.
Betting agents Ladbrokes gave her odds of 7/1 to win the contest and take the crown home to England after THREE DECADES.
Miss Tyrell, who took a year off from her university course to focus on her Miss England projects, went on to make the top 20 in the sports round and the top 10 in the beauty with a purpose round.
Angie Beasley, who runs the Miss England contests, had said she stood a good chance of winning.

"I've been organising regional and national competitions for over 20 years now and I think this was the best chance we have had of winning the Miss World crown," she said earlier.
"Miss England Carina Tyrrell is the most dedicated and hardworking young lady I have ever met.
"She is a true Beauty with a Purpose and already has an amazing CV of humanitarian and charity work which is the Ethos of Miss World.
"I hope the judges see what an inspiration she is and that she would be a perfect ambassador for the role.
"The last time England won was 1983 so we are well overdue. I hope she can do it we will all be cheering her on."
Miss South Africa had been given odds of 2/1 to win and Miss India, Koyal Rana, with odds of 7/1 from bookies.
