Mo Adeniran crowned the WINNER of The Voice UK 2017


The Voice UK: Mo Adeniran crowned as the WINNER of The Voice UK 2017


It has been confirmed this evening that Mo Adeniran has been crowned as the WINNER of The Voice UK 2017 and has won a lucrative recording contract with Polydor Records.

After thousands upon thousands of people applied, it finally came down to Into The Ark and Mo with Mo edging slightly ahead in the votes.

Following the announcement, Mo said: “I just want everyone to know from the blind auditions onwayds they have done amazing. Thanks to everyone who has supported me and thank you to the most incredible person I’ve ever met in my life, Jennifer Hudson”.
Some things are slightly different on this year’s series of the show, mind, as the winner will not go on to release a Winner’s Single. Typically with these types of shows, the winner goes on to release a cover of the song, or sometimes even the original, immediately after the result has been released, however, that will not happen this time around.

Over the next few weeks, the winner will head into the studio and will record tracks for the forthcoming EP. Details about what sort of tracks – whether they include original songs or not – have not yet been confirmed. However, what we do know is that the EP will be released alongside a special ‘The Winner’s Story’ episode on ITV. At present, it is not clear when the EP will be released, but we have been told that it will arrive just weeks after the finale.
