Flylander Couture was the headline fashion house for the Face of 2012 Gala awards. Designer Marcus Flylander Niles designed bespoke pieces inspired by Olympic heroes and Olympic sports to honour London hosting the 2012 Olympics. Models. He also added his ready to wear collection for Autum/Winter 2011 whcih included pieces influenced by historical icons and mystical creatures.
In September 2011, Flylander Couture had a special photo shoot in Stratford, London with award winning photographer Michael Cheetham. The photo shoot was sponsored by Sinclair Management (Models of Diversity Campaign) as a prize for the Face of 2012 spokesmodel winners Hassan Reese and Trisha Viranna. The two have models have caused a storm on the catwalks of London in 2011 with the unique exotic and unique looks. In 2012 Hassan and Trisha will be representing Universal Elite, a social enterprise aimed towards diplomats, celebrities and dignitaries living, working and interested in London.
At the photo shoot designer Marcus Flylander Niles and photographer Michael Cheetham decided on a look and theme that was dark, mystical and vampish which is popular right now with young, trendy people in cosmopolitan areas. Some of the Flylander Couture pieces used included (1) Black Magic Hooded Fox fur Bomber with chin chiller cuff and Fly varsity with FL logo on left chest and Fox fur Neck (2) Fly Revolution Cardigan (3) Armless Flylander Cardigan (4) Fly and Die look (5) No Escape Flylander look (6) Winter Romance look (7) Vampire Bride look and many more.

Marcus FlyLander Niles burst on the fashion scene winter 2010 and is now hitting the stages for this year’s 2011 London Fashion week.
“He says “The Label is called FlyLander Couture because you feel like the flyist in the land when you wear these bespoke luxury pieces. “He also says” Couture is the definition of elegance always present within fashion and simultaneously pushing fashion forward, which this ground breaking fashion house stands for.
This London-based Street chic designers luxury brand Flylander draws its influences from period’s in history i.e. Genghis Khan & the Barbarians to the myth’s of king Arthur and the mythical character The Dark Knight, to the Marvel Super Hero: The Green Lantern & super villain the Sabre-Tooth, the line also consists of Avant-garde key piece’s inspired by iconic film Mad Max represented in its name Mad Stacks to name but a few. Other influences came from street cultural movements within Music, Art & Film these are represent by both with rigged & soft fitted leather with zip, spike & studded embellishments and extravagant furs in a plethora of thirst quenching Colour combinations. And that’s just the jackets .The tee’s are represented both by iconic graphics hard hitting slogans such as Stay Fly or Die and rhinestone incrusted wing motifs that have become synonymous with the FlyLander Couture brand.
