Nostalgia alert!

The cast of beloved 90s sitcom The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air reunited on Monday for a get-together that will surely have everyone singing, "Now this is a story all about how..."

Alfonso Ribeiro shared the group snapshot featuring Tatyana Ali, Karyn Parsons, Daphne Maxwell Reid and Joseph Marcell to his Instagram, which he captioned, "Always amazing to spend an afternoon with my Fresh Prince family. Wishing that James Averywas still with us to make this complete."

Avery, who played Will's no-nonsense Uncle Phil on the show, passed away in 2014. 

And while it's been more than a decade since Fresh Prince ended its wildly popular six-season run, fans are still holding out for a revival. 

When E! News caught up with the show's titular star last year, he was quick to shut down speculation that a reboot was in the works. "I don't think ever, like pretty close to when hell freezes over," Smith shared. "Like we're going to leave that one alone."

Two years prior, Alfonso explained why the cast has opted out of any sort of official reunion in honor of Avery's legacy on the show. 

"Since the passing of my favorite dad in the world, ever on TV, James Avery passed, the chances of a Fresh Prince coming back together will not happen," he told E! News. "I don't think we feel as a cast that we would do even our fans justice. We all felt like he was the centerpiece or the nucleus of that show. Without him, it just doesn't work. So even if the whole cast comes to support me on the show, we're not looking for that to happen. And that's OK."

Will Smith's father Willard Carroll Smith Sr has died.

The 48-year-old actor's ex-wife Sheree Fletcher - who he was married to from 1992 to 1995 - confirmed the passing of Willard Carroll Smith, Sr., on Monday.

Posting a picture of Will and his father along with Will and Sheree's son Trey, 23, she paid a touching tribute, while Will is yet to confirm the news himself.

She wrote on Instagram: 'We're gonna miss you Daddio! You lived & played by your own rules...

'You truly were 1 of a kind! You instilled discipline, and a work ethic that has created a legacy in your honor!'

The picture shows Hollywood actor Will on the right of his father, and 23-year-old Try in the middle. 

Will also has two children Jaden, 18, and Willow, 16, with his second wife Jada Pinkett Smith.

Willard was a refrigeration engineer and a former member of the US Air Force. 

In the book Will Smith: A Biography, it claims Will's dad put him off doing drugs when he was younger by driving him to tough neighbourhoods in Philadelphia to show him what it was like for people on such substances.

On the fear of his father if he ever took drugs, he is quoted as saying: 'I felt my father would kill me. Literally.' 

Will has also previously praised his dad as a 'steady and positive figure' in his life. He once said: 'Dad was tough but not tyrannical. 

'He kept me in line. He'd get this look that said, 'One more step, Will, and it'll get ugly. 'He was an independent businessman - he set up refrigeration in supermarkets - and he always provided for us. He's a steady and positive figure in my life.'

Whoever does the guest booking on the Graham Norton show deservers a huge bonus this week. The person not only had wall to wall (couch to couch) of celebrities but paved the way to the Fresh Prince of Bel Air exclusive reunion on the Graham Norton show. Will and Jaden Smith began with a rap entitled "hello" to wet our taste buds and then introduced us to DJ Jazzy Jeff this time....the rest is TV GOLD....
Will and Jaden then did a catchy remix of the Fresh Prince of Bel Air theme song with DJ Jazzy Jeff on the decks....Just when we thought every fan and 90s youth had been sufficiently excited, Will Smith introduces a surprise Alfonso Ribeiro (geek Carlton Banks) who does the Carlton dance so energetically to Tom Jones "It's not unsual". Reminding us why we loved the millionaire heir and geek during his hey days on the Fresh Prince of Bel Air. Then the Fresh Prince team ended their skit with what can only be deemed a PR team's pot of gold, they did the "Jump On It" dance joined by host Graham Norton. A-listers Bradley Cooper and Heather Graham whilst looking bemused at times could not help joining in and dancing as well. Heather Graham looked as fanatical a fan as the rest of us! In just two days the VIDEO has peaked at 9.8 million views.
