Brazil were hoping to salvage some pride in their third place play-off with Holland.
But the match proved to be so easy for Holland goalkeeper Jasper Cillessen, he was spotted sitting down against the post midway through the game.
Brazil fans were left booing as Holland cruised to a 3-0 victory and Cillessen’s rest summed up the dominance.
So it’s no surprise that the picture of the resting goalie was quickly given the meme treatment. Here’s some of the best.
